Attendance Ticket Directions & FAQ

Step-by-step directions to get your attendance ticket:

1. Using Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox, go to www.tickets.fsu.edu

2. Use the left navigation column to access the "Student Login" page or click here to be directed to the Student Login interface.

3. Your user name is your FSU e-mail address using "@my.fsu.edu" instead of "@fsu.edu" for the second half of the address. (Example: joe02d@my.fsu.edu)

DO NOT CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT. YOUR ACCOUNT HAS ALREADY BEEN SET UP THROUGH THE TICKET OFFICE. IF YOU CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT YOU WILL NOT BE COUNTED AS ATTENDED.

4. Your password is "ticket". Then hit enter.

5. Enter your personal information and then hit "purchase tickets". DO NOT CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD.

6. Click on "Buy Tickets" next to the date of the event.

7. Click on "Add seats to cart".

8. Click on "Check Out".

9. Use the pull down menu to answer the question - "How did you hear about us?"

10. "Print at Home" is the only delivery option available.

11. Click on "Finalize....."

12. At the bottom of the screen, you have the option to "Print Ticket" immediately at this time. You can print now or an electronic version of the ticket will also be sent in an attachment to your confirmation email (to your FSU e-mail account) which you can open this attachment and print at a later time.

13. Now check your FSU e-mail account. You will have a confirmation e-mail that has a copy of the same receipt AND an attachment. Open the attachment. This attachment IS your ticket.

14. Please add autoresponse@choiceticketing.com to your address book to ensure delivery to your Inbox.

15. Now print the attachment and bring it with you to the event. We will scan your ticket as you enter to record your ticket. If you forget your ticket, you will be marked absent.

If you have issues getting your ticket, first, double check that you have followed each of the 15 steps word for word. Then if you still have issues, contact Sarah Goodson at tickets@fsu.edu for assistance.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: I am unable to “Login”. What is wrong?

A: You might not be registered for THE4990.  Login to Blackboard, go to SecureApps and    check “My Class Schedule”.  If you do not see THE 4990 on your schedule, please contact Academic Services. OR:

  • You are not using your email address correctly – use “@my.fsu.edu” NOT “@fsu.edu”.
  • You attempted to “create your own account”. Despite the appearance that you can create your own account, only the Ticket Office has the ability to make your account active. Please contact the Ticket Office at tickets@fsu.edu for assistance.
  • DO NOT CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT. YOUR ACCOUNT HAS ALREADY BEEN SET UP THROUGH THE TICKET OFFICE. IF YOU CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT YOU WILL NOT BE COUNTED AS ATTENDED.

Q: I have forgotten my password. How do Ifind out what it is?

A: Your password is ALWAYS 'ticket'. However, on the “Students Login” page, there is a link – Forget Your Password?  Click on that link and follow the directions and your login password will be emailed to you at your FSU email address.

Q: Once I “Login”, I get stuck in a message that says “Currently Checking Seat Availability”. What does this mean?

A: It means that you need to either refresh your Internet Browser by clearing out your browsing history or it could be due to the particular browser your are using. This online ticket system is best viewed using either Microsoft Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox. Do not use Safari.

Q: I never received an email confirmation. What do I do?

A: Check your Junk / Trash folder. You must add autoresponse@choiceticketing.com to your address book to ensure delivery to your Inbox.

Q: I lost or forgot to bring my Print@Home ticket to the All School Meeting. What do I do?

A: Without a ticket to scan, you will not receive credit for attending the meeting

  1. If you need your ticket re-printed at the ticket office you will be charged a $1.00 fee
  2. If you did not reserve your ticket online and need to do it at the ticket office you will be charged a fee of $5.00
  3. You do not need to order another ticket. Keep the original email confirmation and re-print your attachment (Print@Home ticket).

Suggestion: Create an “All School / Forum” folder in your email and keep the email confirmation and Print@Home ticket in that folder for reference if necessary until after the meeting has taken place.

Q: I need to print my ticket, where can I do that?

A: If you do not have your own printer, you may use the printers at Strozier Library.

Q: Can my ticket be scanned from my phone or other mobile device?

A: Sometimes. This technology is still being tested and does not always work. If you take the chance of not printing your ticket and the scanner is unable to read the barcode off of your mobile device you will be required to pay the fee to get your ticket printed from the ticket office.

Q: Can I get a ticket for my friend who is in THE 4990?

A: No, each ticket must be “ordered” online by the individual student in order for that student to receive credit for attending the meeting.
